Pasta Angel Ornament by Belinda Mooney

You will not believe how elegant these simple angels look when done!

These litle angels are absolutely adorable. Our children are making these this year to hang on our tree. Here is what we are doing.

Pasta Angel Ornament

For 6 angels you will need:

6 - 3/4" wooden bead (or make your own out of clay)
6 Rigatoni noodles
tiny soup macaronis
6 bowtie (farfalle) noodles
12 elbow noodles
glossy white, gold or silver spray paint
craft glue or hot glue
gold thread or cord for hanging
permanent marker for marking eyes
tiny stars or other things the angels can hold

Glue the wooden bead to the top of the rigatoni. Glue the little soup macaronis on the head to look like hair. Now glue the bowtie macaroni on the back for the wings. Glue the elbow macaronis on the from for the arms. They should end with the curve toward the outside and the "hands" almost touching. Spray your angel completely with your color choice. Hot glue gold thread to the back for a hanger or thread it through one of the tiny macaronis on the head. When dry draw tiny half moon eyes on the face. Glue tiny gifts between the hands if you would like too.
