Make a Snow Painting

Make a winter scene with this easy to do kid's crafts. You will end up with a sparkly, glittery painting.

Supplies:

heavy paper like cardstock
crayons
white tempera paint , thinned a little with water
glitter

Directions:

1. Have your children draw a winter scene on their paper. Color the picture fairly heavily with the crayon.

2. Now brush the white tempera paper over the scene. The crayon will show through and it will look like a snowy winter day!

3. Sprinkle the glitter on before the paint dries.
