Orange and Lemon Spice Baskets These little baskets are as much a feast for the nose as they are for the eyes! Try using limes too! You will need: Lemons and oranges. You will need to cut out the fruit into the shape of small baskets. To do this picture your orange being divided into 4 quarters. In the top quarters cut out a wedge from each side leaving a "handle". Now carefully scoop out the fruit and pulp. Make sure you remove it all. Dust with Orris root twice a day for 1-2 weeks to preserve them. (They will only last 3-4 days otherwise.) Fill each basket with a different spice and hang on the tree. the heat from the lights will also help release the scent of the spices.
