Year Round Window Gardening
by Belinda Mooney

An indoor garden even in winter!

YEAR ROUND WINDOW GARDEN FOR KIDS

You'll need
Vegetables like carrots, radishes, or turnips
Different size pretty rocks
Old shallow bowls or pie tin
Water

Wash your rocks and arrange them a single layer in the pie tin. Trim the top off the vegetable, leaving enough on so it will sit flat in the pie tin. Arrange the vegetables on top the rocks. Put in enough water to wet or just cover the bottom of the vegetables. Put your garden in a sunny window. In a few days you will see sprouts! Be sure and add water as needed
