~*~Fancy~*~Decorated~*~Socks~*~

Materials:

• bobby socks of your choice any color
• Paper to work on top of
• Acrylic paints , any color
• Different items to paint with- old toothbrush, paintbrushes, pencils, sponges
• toilerpaper or paper towel tube

1.Uncuff your socks and turn them inside out. Slip a tube down inside them. We also have used just a piece of cardboard.

2. Put some of each color paint you are going to use out on a paper plate.

3. Decide what type of design you want your socks to have and then start painting!

4. Use a pencil eraser tip to make dots. Dip the edge of a toilet paper tube in paint for rings. Use your old toothbrush and dip it in the paint then flick it with your finger for a splatter painted look . (Watch out, this one can go far!) Use sponges for a mottled look or sponge shapes for an over all theme.
